so next week I will be taking a short business trip to the city of portland. i was told by a coworker that its a nice city known for seafood and micro breweries. the only memory i have of the oregon trail is this of course:
anyone know anything else for me to do while i am hunting for bison and trying to ford them rivers?
So this past Friday I was working out with the crew minus mad mike, and apparently I was putting on a gun show kinda like this one
Something seemed to be piercing me during this time but I didn't want to check into it, although I had a good idea what was happening. So after we were done Alex and Sitha told me that this dude was just starring at me non stop. I knew it,
I just didn't want him to feel like this guy I think everyone has a piercing stare radar what do you think?
So five months and 10,200 miles later I am no longer in Woodstock and my status no longer includes being a professional driver. But tomorrow I will be going to Mason City, Iowa for some training and come back Friday early evening so that shouldn't be too bad. However the bad part is going to be the ~2 hour drive from Des Moines to Mason City, but even badder will be the time at the hotel. Any suggestions yall?
On another note my one college regret is not seeing Victor Wooten my freshman year at Canopy for $12. So this will have to be the next best thing. Here is my good buddy Vic. Enjoy
Last Sunday I happened to leave my keys in the car, unfortunately I don't have a spare key yet. So initialy I thought it was going to cost me $55 to get the keys out, however when the man came by he said its $55 for the service call and $85 to do the actual work. But I talked him into taking $10 off the total cost so that was a small victory.
The following morning on my way to work, right before I got on the expressway I noticed an unfamiliar sound, which turned out to be my rear right tire deciding to give. So I pulled into the corner gas station which has an attached mechanic shop, and asked them how much it costs to repair a flat tire. The man tells me $10, so I tell him to procede. About 5 min later he says you need a new tire which will cost $95, so after a little thought I told him to go ahead, after all I had to get to work.
So all was well until I come home from work Wednesday night. After I turned onto the main road that leads me to the expressway, I noticed a strange sound familiar to the sound I heard on Monday morning. So I pulled over to check it out, and the same rear right tire was flat yet again. I go into my trunk to put on a spare, however I had no wrench in the car to remove the nuts, just a jack to lift up the car. So I pulled a U turn and held up traffic on a 2 lane road so that I could make it to the nearest gas station back in town. At the gas station I ask this young 17 year old gentleman if he had a wrench that I could use to put on my spare. Luckily he did, so after I took off the useless $95 tire he told me my srping was broken, which is why the inside of my tire got ripped up. It would have been nice if the first mechanic could of been as helpful as the highschool kid. Anyways I was lucky that the spare didn't make contact with the broken spring, so I was able to get home in 3 hours.
But my car is in the shop now so who knows what the damage is going to be, but until then I have a rental car on the company cause its balling. Kinda like this:
Now that my everyday car is in the shop who wants to take a ride in my balling NSX?
